Pilot checklist

Step 1 – All minimum requirements met

Step 2 – Firewall & whitelisting completed

Step 3 – Remote access to your lab

Step 4 – Omnivore scheduling and installation (1 hour)

Step 5 – PA POS Adapter setup and scheduling (30-minutes)

  • 2GHz dual-core processor

  • 8GB RAM

  • iPad or iPad mini (Wi-Fi Only) (Client to purchase)

    • iOS 14 or higher

  • Note: Future state for Kiosk will require iOS 15

  • ’      Aloha Back-of-House (BOH) server or dedicated interface server

  • ’      NCR Aloha 12.3 or higher

  • ’      Aloha Connect license (Obtained from NCR Aloha)

  • ’      2 External Interface Terminal (EIT) licenses or Interface Terminal licenses

  • ’      Aloha Transaction Gateway (ATG)

  • ’      Secure Wi-Fi___33 for the iPads

  • ’      Internet access for POS Adapter and iPads (business class router recommended)

  • ’      Complete whitelisting details are here:

  • ’      Your teams will need to validate prior to Omnivore installation these ports are whitelisted

  • ’      Note: Inbound firewall access is not required

  • ’      Your teams will need to provide MM access to their lab, if applicable.

  • ’      BOH (Back of house) Windows credentials 

  • ’      CFC user with read only access

  • ’      Client VPN or Site to Site Tunnel to provide Mad Mobile the ability to connect to the POS Adapter running in the lab (or production site). 

  • ’      Staff PINs with various level of access to the terminal

    • Manager PIN

    • Employee PIN

    • Note: Goal is different job codes.

  • ’      Schedule time with MM and Omnivore to install Omnivore (1 hour block of time required)

    • IMPORTANT: See Omnivore below for further details

  • ’      Schedule time with MM to install and configure POS Adapter (30 minutes required)

  • ’      Your teams will be responsible for the following:

  • ’      Create account on Omnivore panel

  • ’      Create locations under Dev for lab locations or Prod for production locations

  • ’      Add MenuPad via application per location

    • Mad Mobile will accept the invite

  • ’ Self-install Omnivore or request an install session with MM to coordinate with Omnivore Support

    • Request Omnivore to enable local mode for all locations

    • Notes: The Omnivore Location port ID is usually 4462

      • Recommend Your teams to manage their own production Omnivore installs

 

  • ’      MM Customer Support/Onboarding Team will be responsible for the client install. 

    • Note: Client is responsible for the production installs after the initial install is complete.

  • ’      Configuration settings will be managed by Mad Mobile.

    • Note: Change requests are required to modify cloud configurations

  • ’      Note: Omnivore & POS Adapter need to run on the same machine

  • ’      MenuPad application is available on the App store

    • MenuPad will require the IP Address/Port to be setup via iPad Settings

 

  • ’      MDM (Mobile Device Management) makes it easier deploy the application and lockdown iPads

    • Note: Recommended device names for Support to provide better assistance

        • Ex: MM-1234-USMC3020-iPadMini5
